As a dedicated advocate for shelter dog adoption, photographer Emma O'Brien has several rescue dogs of mixed breeds in her care and she doesn't discriminate between breeds. However, for this particular project, she turns her attention to purebred dog adoption and what she found was concerning. Normally, mixed-breed dogs are frequently surrendered to shelters due to rampant breeding and they have no inherent financial value, putting them at a disadvantage for those seeking a specific breed.

Mikko Lagerstedt is a talented Finnish Landscape Photographer. His creative landscape photographs are so captivating, both visually and emotionally. His ability to read and capture emotions in certain places is what makes him stand out from the rest. Ultimately, his photographs are capable of taking the viewer to places instantly and making them feel lost in nature.
'Solitude' is such an emotion he portrays exceptionally. It is not an exaggeration when we at Fotomated say, 'we haven't seen anyone convey the loneliness or solitude better than him, in photography'. They are definitely 'fine arts', even though Mikko doesn't use that term. No more explanation is needed, scroll down to see his stunning photographs yourself.

By definition, Portrait photography is the type of photography aimed towards capturing the personality of a person or group of people by using effective photography techniques and accessories. But as of today, this is not the case always. Most of the time, the personality which the photographer is looking for will be expressed instead of the true personality of the subject. Yet, we can't point fingers, because most of them are created for commercial purposes. They have to do what they have to do.
Carol Visser is a photographer whose portrait photographs perfectly fit into the definition of portraiture. They are not glamorous, but they are powerful and real. Her photographs capture the true personality of her subjects. Plus she has a fascinating choice of subjects for her portraits. She...

Interestingly, Milky Way Photography is the only genre of photography where everyone shoots the same subject, the inner side of the Milky Way (the galaxy we belong to), all the time. Only the frame, foreground and angle are what differed.
Since the subject is always a constant in Milky Way Photography, to create a photograph that stands out from the rest of the crowd, one has to be creative and use an artistic approach. What you are about to see are such outstanding 16 artistic Milky Way photographs by the photographer Marcin Zając. Let us just dive into the photographs without much talk.
