From the Streets of Bangkok – An Authentic Photo Essay

Ashraful Arefin is a Fine Art Photographer from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Street photography is one of his go-to genres in his photography journey. We at Fotomated noticed that he always tries to capture the streets in their natural form, without looking for strange and funny things or coincidences. He consistently portrays the big picture of the life of the streets, without focusing on tiny details. So his particular street photography collection is basically an authentic photo essay of that place. His collection called 'From the Streets of Bangkok' is an excellent example of the aforementioned fact. Enjoy the collection of storytelling photographs below. Minimalist Street Photography – 24 Moody Street Photographs

Street Photography
Street photography is whole another level of photography where the photographer is not allowed to compose & set lighting, and where the subjects do not wait for the shot to be captured. It is a situation where the photographer is on their own and the subjects do not cooperate at all. Hence, some additional set of skills is required to be a street photographer than general photography skills, such as extreme quickness, being always ready, being patient, and improvisation. Street photographs are often so busy, obviously because that is how the streets are almost all the time. They are crowded, filled with so many details and contain a lot of emotions. But this French photographer, Jose Antoine Costa, seems to seek otherwise. He might like things to be calm, slow and minimal. That is...

This Street Photographer Has Some Serious Eyes to Catch Impossible Coincidences

Street Photography
Unlike most other genres of photography, street photographers should possess some intense additional skills to become successful in the field. In other genres, the photographer can plan the shoot, direct the subjects, set up the lighting, check the camera settings, take time as long as the shot is perfect and most importantly take another shot if the first one does not fit the expectation. But when you are on the street with a camera in your hand you don't have any of these luxuries. One has to have keen eyes, have a good imagination, be extremely quick, be always ready, be very patient, improvise and make no mistakes if he wants to become a good street photographer. Only a window of a few seconds would be available to prepare and capture the moment. The one we are looking at today un...
