The CEWE Photo Awards, a celebrated annual photography contest, have completed their 2023 edition recently, which the organizers claim the ‘world’s largest photo competition’. For years, this competition has been an arena for passionate photographers from all corners of the globe to showcase their creativity and talent, and this year was no exception. With participants spanning different cultures and backgrounds, the contest witnessed record-breaking participation, 509,612 photos from 147 countries.
The 2023 edition of CEWE Photo Awards featured an incredibly diverse range of themes, from Landscapes to Aerial Photos. These talented winners, chosen by a distinguished panel of judges, have demonstrated exceptional skill and a keen eye for visual storytelling. The competition not only recognized outstanding photographers but also brought forth a treasure trove of moments, emotions, and memories captured through the lenses of these dedicated artists.
And what is even more important is, for every photo submitted, CEWE donates 10 cents to the SOS Children’s Villages. So SOS Children’s Village has received 50,961.20 Euros for 2023 edition.

Overall Winner
Warung Kopi by Dikye Ariani
Overall winner’s prize includes a one-of-a-kind trip of their choice valued at 15,000 EUR, photo equipment worth 7,500 euros and CEWE photo products worth 2,500 EUR. The other nine category winners will each get photo equipment worth 5,000 EUR as well as CEWE photo products worth 2,500 EUR.
