But the conventional sleeping newborn images just don’t satisfy the parents anymore. Himanshu Gunarathna is a highly talented photographer & editor/retoucher from Sri Lanka. He is not fully devoted to newborn photography, but he has specialized in it extensively. He is well capable of wrapping newborns neatly and setting up heart-warming scenes for his photographs.

Other than unique props, he uses his talent in photographic manipulation to compose his photographs due to safety concerns. He seems to use several different styles of wrapping depending on the situation. And almost all the props (baskets, tiny beds and all the woodworks) are made by his own hands. Combining all the inputs, the outcome is adorable.
